Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or else it will be killed... Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or else it will starve to death... It does not matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle... When the sun comes up you had better be running!!!
Shortly about myself
I come from the Czech Republic, a lovely small country in the Central Europe. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Image Processing and Analysis) from The University of Iowa in December, 1999. My academic advisor was Prof. Milan Sonka. I received my M.S. degree from the Technical University of Brno, Czech Republic, majoring in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems).
