The Student Development Center is a valuable resource for undergraduate College of Engineering students and offers a wide range of services. Whether students are current, prospective, transfer, or even study abroad, the Student Development Center is the place to go for answers.

The Engineering Professional Development Resource Manual is a great tool for students who need assistance with resume and cover letter writing. Iowa Engineer

Iowa Engineer

Iowa Engineer is published twice yearly for engineering alumni and friends as well as future students, corporate partners, and other audiences. The current issue features the recent creation of the Iowa Institute for Biomedical Imaging which provides a research and discovery home for the University's entire biological imaging community as well as a formal connection between UI engineering and medical researchers, imaging researchers, and research companies around the world. The publication also features the Virtual International Project Teams course which helps students learn to collaborate across cultures and time zones, and engineering alumni who trace careers in patent and intellectual property law. Curriculum

The College of Engineering offers students a pre-planned curriculum guide that can help to schedule courses and provide a map to the full four years of undergraduate work. These curriculums can be picked up in the Student Development Center, or found online.

 

The University of Iowa College of Engineering
