Our Mission

To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

 

 

 

The University of Iowa chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers was re-charted under the leadership of a group of black engineering students and their faculty members. Since then the chapter has grown to about twenty active members. Though still an infant organization, the University of Iowa NSBE chapter has continued to grow both in the number of members and the quality of its programs
