Cara Hull is the chief quality officer for HealthPartners, a large integrated health care system in the upper Midwest. She provides strategic leadership and oversight of clinical quality, patient safety, experience, quality data analytics, clinical education services, and lean quality improvement program.  

Prior to joining HealthPartners in 2015, Cara spent 18 years at HealthEast Care System in St. Paul, MN, most recently as the vice president of performance excellence. Cara was on the core team that designed and built a new hospital, Woodwinds Health Campus, which won numerous awards for its innovative and healing design. Cara started her career in the health care consulting practice of Ernst and Young. 

Cara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She completed the executive leadership program at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and is a certified health care insurance executive (CHIE). She met her husband Scott, a fellow engineering alum, at the University of Iowa and has been a lifelong Hawkeye fan.
