Selectory.com is our new on-line national business database which allows students and alumni to identify companies in a specific geographical area or industry to target for a job or internship search.
Companies are grouped together by a SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code,
four digit numerical codes assigned by the U.S. government to identify the primary business of the establishment.
Examples of SIC codes related to engineering include:
8711 - Engineering Services
2834 - Pharmaceuticals
3842 - Orthopedic, Prosthetic & Surgical Appliances
3531 - Construction Machinery and Equipment

- Visit www.selectory.com
- Enter the username: eng1 and the password: epd09
We have purchased 8 separate licenses as only one person is able to log-in at one time. If you are unable to log-in with the username eng1, try eng2, eng3, eng4, eng5, eng6, eng7 or eng8 with the same password as above until you are able to log-in.
- Once you log-in, click on "Build a Search". Select the criteria you wish to search by and run the search. For best results, start with fewer criteria and then narrow it down.
