Doug Livermore graduated from The University of Iowa in 1991 with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his career with Exxon Chemical (now ExxonMobil Chemical) in 1991 as a Process Design Engineer in the central engineering division in Baytown, Texas. Doug continued to work at the Baytown site for 11 years holding various engineering and management roles. In 2002 he was named Energy Advisor for the chemical company where he played a central role implementing an energy management program throughout the company’s global manufacturing sites. In 2004 Doug began an assignment at Advanced Elastomer Systems, an ExxonMobil affiliate in Akron, Ohio, as the Global Engineering Manager as well as Plant Manager of the Wadsworth site. In 2007 he returned to ExxonMobil’s Baytown site as Manager of a major project for the Aromatics business. Throughout his career, Doug has also been involved in the United Way agencies in Texas and Ohio.
