Peer Advisors

The Peer Advisor program is a resource developed by students, for students. They offer advice on their respective majors, course combinations, course loads, and share their personal experiences through their journey to a career in engineering. Additionally, they provide support to their peers through workshops and outreach using the MAP-Works system.

Come to the Student Development Center, 3124 Seamans Center, between 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Mon-Thurs), 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Mon/Wed/Fri), or 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (Tues/Thurs) for assistance with your questions about majors, general education courses or policies and procedures. The Peer Advisors work closely with the professional academic advising staff.

Peer Advisor Office Hours - Fall 2015

Peer Advisor Workshops

In both the spring and fall semester, the Peer Advisors offer workshops to assist students in preparation for their academic advising appointments with their advisor.

FALL 2015: EFA Workshops provide guidance to any students interested in learning more about filling out EFAs. This workshop is particularly helpful for sophomores and juniors. Each major has its own specifications and requirements which the Peer Advisor will go over in detail. Bring your questions, the Peer Advisors are ready to answer them. (Times and locations TBD)
