HireaHawk is the University's on-line recruiting system designed to connect students and employers. Students can search for and apply to co-ops, internships, and full-time positions, upload resumes and cover letters, sign-up for on-campus interviews, research organizations, find mentors, and view upcoming career events. Employers have the capability of postings jobs and co-op/internship positions, setting up on-campus interviews, and searching through the student resume books.

Employer Registration Instructions:

  1. Create your on-line profile and post any positions you have.
  2. Your will receive an e-mail when your account and/or job has been approved (typically within 24-48 hours).
  3. Log in with the username and password you created to add or edit positions, request on-campus interview schedules, or search through the student resume books.

Student Registration Instructions:

  1. Click here to access HireaHawk.com
  2. Log on under "Current Users" or "New Users" as applicable.
  3. Update and/or create and submit your profile.
  4. Upload your resume and add it to the resume book (Employers search this book for qualified engineering candidates). Resumes typically are approved within 48 hours.

Alumni Registration Instructions (graduated over 6 months ago):

  1. Call 319-335-1023 to receive access to register.
  2. Click here to access HireaHawk.com
  3. Select "Click Here to Register" to create and submit your profile.
