The College of Engineering offers free tutoring for all engineering students. The program covers material in various classes that are offered during the first four semesters of the engineering curriculum. There is no need to fill out forms to request a tutor, just stop by 3124 SC any time from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday.

I am a sophomore in Electrical Engineering from Anamosa, Iowa. I enjoy motorsports and the outdoors. My best tutoring subject is Math 3.

I am from China and majoring in civil engineering. I enjoy math, physics, thermo and circuits. My best would be physics and I have been working as a physics tutor for a year in tutoring.

I'm from a south suburb of Chicago (Glenwood). I am majoring in Environmental Engineering with a double minor in Spanish and Mathematics as well as a Certificate in Sustainability. Some hobbies are painting, running (if I feel like it), volunteering and shopping... My best tutoring subject is Math so far. Don't really know what else I'm good at yet.

I'm from the small town of Dyersville, IA (home to the Field of Dreams and the National Farm Toy Show). I am currently a senior studying Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy tutoring most every subject, especially Thermodynamics and Statics. When I am not tutoring or studying, I enjoy training for marathons/tough mudders, watching/playing football, and enjoying my final year at the University of Iowa in any way possible.

I'm from Schaumburg, IL and am going for my Chemical Engineering degree. As a result of my heavy course load, in my spare time I like to just vegetate or actually get some sleep. Sometimes I'll take walks just to get some fresh air from my studies. My best subjects are Math 1 and EPS 2. Math 1 I have had the most exposure. I have completed up to Math 5 and so these concepts have become second nature. EPS 2 on the other hand I really enjoyed and pushed myself into the next programming class. On occasion I have even developed my own programs to assist me in tedious calculations on homework.

I'm currently a TA for Engineering Problem Solving II as well as a tutor of EPS II, Statics, Circuits, and Thermodynamics. Academics aside, I'm a member and team manager of the Hawkeye Ballroom & Latin Dance Competition team. I joined the team in January (2012) and have been dancing and going to collegiate competitions since. In addition to dancing, I also rock climb and play the occasional pick-up game of basketball or volleyball as my schedule allows. My life is pretty busy, but I do my best to enjoy it!
