Engineering Career Fairs

STUDENTS

Each year, the College of Engineering holds two career fairs, one in late September and another in early February. This is a great way for students to meet 60-100 engineering, manufacturing, consulting and governmental organizations to discuss full-time, co-op and internship opportunities in the areas of Biomedical, Chemical, Civil & Environmental, Electrical & Computer, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

Mark your calendar for the Fall 2013 ENGINEERING CAREER FAIR ON Thursday, September 19, 2013. The fair will be held from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union.  Companies will be in attendance looking for graduates, interns & co-ops.

Be prepared and dress professionally, as many companies conduct interviews the day after the fair! Also, check the HireaHawk online system through ISIS as a number of companies interview the day following the career fair and return throughout the semester to hold interviews.

EMPLOYERS

Registration for the Fall 2013 Engineering Career Fair on Thursday, September 19, 2013 will open by June 1.

The fairs officially kick off the start of our fall and spring on-campus recruiting seasons. We strongly encourage companies to set up on-campus interviews the day after and fill their schedules at the fair. Companies are also welcome to come back to campus a few weeks later to conduct interviews. Attending our career fairs is an essential component in building and maintaining your company's brand on campus and in recruiting top engineering talent.
