The Engineering Student Services (ESS) group will assist you in achieving your educational hopes and dreams.  Have you considered applying your creative and technical talents to solving some of the most important problems facing our society?  The Grand Challenges Program at the University of Iowa will give you an opportunity to make a difference and receive funding. 

Do you want your research project to be recognized as an honor thesis?  The College of Engineering will help you complete your thesis and/or complete your degree with Honors in the Major.  Have you considered ways of developing your leaderships skills?  Consider joining one of our 30 Engineering Student Organizations or applying for our Student Leadership Institute.  What about getting experience seeing how other cultures work?  You can complete a semester, a summer, or a winter working towards your degree in another country.
