Engineers without Borders is a non-profit organization that focuses on bringing sustainable solutions to problems in developing countries. The key is partnering with other non-profits in country and the community in need to solve issues at hand. The University of Iowa's student chapter is working in Kobriti, Ghana, West Africa. They are currently working on improving access to water and sanitation in the community. UIEWB will be mostly dormany this fall as they transition to a new organization to continue their work in Ghana.
