The WISE Ambassadors is a community of undergraduate and graduate women studying in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) majors. We organize K-12 and community outreach activities, plan professional development opportunities, and provide service to local organizations. Each year the WISE Ambassadors have organize a Science and Engineering Extravaganza for third through sixth grade girls, help with local science fairs, prepare dinner at Ronald McDonald House and Hope House, organize two blood drives, hear presentations from women who are working in STEM fields, and tour labs on campus along with engaging in many other volunteering and professional development opportunities.
