Diversity at the UI College of Engineering

The mission of Diversity Programs in the College of Engineering is to provide a successful learning experience for all students. We strive to ensure that students, especially those from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in engineering, have the opportunity to realize their aspirations while also contributing their unique ideas, skills, talents, and strengths to the daily life of the College of Engineering. The many diverse groups represented within our student body are integral to the fabric of our college, and programs focusing specifically on pathways to their success contribute to the mission of both the university and the college.
