2012 Legislative Day at the Capitol

At the 2012 Legislative Day at the capitol in Des Moines, Lewis Central High School received plaque for 2012 PLTW Model School. The plaque was presented by Vince Bertram, CEO of PLTW. Governor Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds visited with PLTW Middle school students at that event.

What is Project Lead the Way?

Project Lead the Way is a national program that forms partnerships among schools and the private sector to increase the quality and number of engineers. In joint collaboration with Iowa State University, The University of Iowa is proud to be a co-affiliate university for the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) program.
