Undergraduate Programs
The College of Engineering is one of 11 Colleges that comprise The University of Iowa. With educational courses dating back over 100 years, the College today has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students -- nearly 1,700 of whom are undergraduates. About 50% of undergraduate enrollment comes from the state of Iowa. Women make up about 21% of undergraduates in Engineering @ Iowa -- higher than the national average of 17%.
The College offers undergraduate engineering degrees in the following:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
All six undergraduate engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
