I came to the University of Iowa because I was attracted to the Ethnic Inclusion Program. This program has provided me with both emotional and academic support, as well as, being a bridge for students to join together. I am a joint student with the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where I work on pulmonary drug delivery using porous polymers. I am enjoying my time here, but boy do I miss my farm-raised catfish from my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi :o)!
