Special Fields of Knowledge: Cardiovascular biomechanics; finite element method, geometric modeling; 3D reconstruction;  mechanical testing of biologic tissues. 

Present Research Interests: Biomechanics of aneurysms and endovascular grafts; Mechanics of biological and engineered soft tissues; heart valve mechanics; Biomechanics of swallowing.
