Faculty/ Staff Recognition Ceremony - Wednesday, May 13, 4:00pm in the John Deere Plaza
A reception will begin at 4:00 PM followed by an awards ceremony at 4:30 PM. Recipients of the College faculty awards for research, teaching, and service will be recognized. Recipients of the staff award for research and the Mary Sheedy Staff Excellence Award will be recognized. Staff members who have this past academic year achieved landmark service levels to the College of 5, 10 and 15 years will be recognized. Pete, Susan, and others at the Ceremony.

Join us in the Stanley Auditorium (1505 SC) for introductions to water purification for the poor and to the Iowa Solar Bike team. Following the introductions, we'll move to the CEE Water Quality Teaching Lab (1246 SC) to see water purification technologies up close. Then, we'll move to the MIE GROK Lab (G445 SC) to see how solar bikes are built. Cookies and punch afterward.

Join us at the IIHR, room 127 SHL, where Prof. Larry Weber, Director, IIHR - Hydroscience & Engineering, will provide an introduction and overview of IIHR while we enjoy finger food. The group will then be split into two tour groups to visit the world renown facilities of IIHR including the Tow Tank, experiments in the Model Annex and Wind Tunnel Annex.
