Alumni Association, Development Group Host Networking Events April 12

The University of Iowa Alumni Association and the Iowa City Area Development Group (ICAD) are hosting a series of networking events starting from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 12, at The Vine, 39 2nd St., Coralville.

This series features growing industries and involvement opportunities in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. Each event is open to the public and will feature industry and area development representatives, networking and complimentary appetizers provided by the Iowa City Area Development Group.

On April 12, the featured industry will be computer simulation. Confirmed industry attendees include Santos Human, UI Virtual Soldier Research, LMS International, the National Advanced Driving Simulator, Digital Artefacts and BudCat.

Upcoming networking events are set for Tuesday, May 18, when wind and renewable energy industries will be the featured, and Wednesday, June 23, when biotechnology will be featured.  All networking events are at The Vine; no RSVP required.
