James Ankrum, assistant professor of biomedical engineering and researcher at the UI Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center, will participate in a live interview at 12:00 Noon (CST) December 4 on Iowa Public Radio's "River to River" program.

Ankrum will join Dale Abel, chief of the UI Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, professor of internal medicine-endocrinology and metabolism, and professor of biochemistry; and Charles Brenner, UI professor and departmental executive officer of biochemistry and professor of internal medicine, and director of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Research Center, in a discussion on diabetes.
