Casavant, Butler Participate in WorldCanvass Program on Genetics
Tom Casavant, Roy J. Carver, Jr. Chair in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, professor of electrical and computer engineering, biomedical engineering, and ophthalmology and visual sciences, and director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and P. Barry Butler, UI provost and executive vice president and professor of mechanical and industrial engineering, were guests on a recent WorldCanvass program, produced by the University of Iowa.
The program explored the many ways in which genetics and new technologies are changing the world we live in and challenging long-held assumptions.
