CGRER Launches New Videos

The University of Iowa's Center for Global and Regional Environmental Research (CGRER) worked with 12 students and a faculty member to create a video series explaining their work in easy-to-understand terms.

"It's important for the scientific community to better communicate their work to policy makers, key stakeholders and the general public, said Greg Carmichael, Karl Kammermeyer Professor of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, associate dean for graduate programs and research, and co-director of CGRER.

"This will enhance everyone's understanding of science and its impact on society, and, ultimately, will lead to more progress."

The videos are two to three minutes long, and are available to the public via CGRER's YouTube channel at
