College of Engineering Holds Feb. 2 Job and Internship Fair
The College of Engineering will hold its annual Spring Job & Internship Fair from 2:00-6:00 p.m. February 2 in the Second Floor Ballroom, Iowa Memorial Union, Iowa City.
This spring, in spite of a challenging economy, more than 35 employers are participating in the fair, seeking talented University of Iowa students for co-op, internship, and full-time positions in the areas of biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering, and in computer science. The employers are looking for May and December 2010 graduates as well as students for co-ops and internships during summer and fall.
Students are advised to be prepared and dress professional as many employers conduct interviews the day after the fair. Also, students are encouraged to check Employment Expo as several employers return a few weeks after the fair to conduct interviews.
