The latest issue of the digital Iowa Engineer Magazine is now available at,-Vol-2012,-Number-3/index.html#1.

This issue features:

* An historical perspective on "Career Lifelines for Engineering Seniors," showcasing a series of resume' books from 1937 until 1971 that showcased the talents, experience, and know-how of graduating seniors for potential employers -- sort of a "Facebook" for shaping early- to mid-20th Century careers.
* Engineering alumnus Lou Licht and how his trees and Iowa farm values are restoring the natural environment in a unique, sustainable way.
* How the College of Engineering is making a big difference by helping the state of Iowa increase K-12 student interest and enthusiasm in STEM -- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

It also has traditional favorite features, such as College News, Class Notes, and other informative sections.

Iowa Engineer magazine continues to be the best way for Engineering alumni and friends to find out what fellow graduates are doing, learn more how students are learning to become an "engineer...and something more," and discover how faculty and staff members create breakthroughs in research and teaching excellence.
