Among her many activities as an Engineering student, Hahn was a mentee in the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program and lived in the WISE Living-Learning Community her first year.  She received the graduating senior award at her 2011 commencement  Crome-Hahn currently is a member of the college's Young Alumni Advisory Board.

The exhibit also points out that some 98 percent UI Engineering graduates were placed in jobs or graduate programs within a few month of graduation, and 23 percent of UI Engineering students are women -- above the national average.  It also recognizes that UI Engineering prizes exploration, and 70 percent of Iowa engineers graduate with a second major, minor, or certificate.
