Engineering alumnus Mike Elgin (BSE 2006 mechanical engineering), engineering supervisor for Deere & Company, will receive the College of Engineering's Dean's Award for Early Career

Achievement April 9.

Elgin will present a special seminar in conjunction with receiving the award.  The seminar will be held at 3:30 p.m. in 125 Trowbridge Hall on the UI campus.

The award is presented to Engineering alumni under 40 years old at the time of selection who have accomplished remarkable early career success with their professional field or industry.
