Engineering PhD Student Ho Seop Eom Is 2010 Doh Wonsuk Memorial Award Winner
Ho Seop Eom, fourth year doctoral student in chemical and biochemical engineering, is the winner of the 2010 Doh Wonsuk Memorial Award. His advisors are Julie L. P. Jessop, associate professor of chemical and biochemical engineering and researcher at the NSF I/UCRC Photopolymerizations Center, and Alec Scranton, professor of chemical and biochemical engineering, dean of the College of Engineering, and director of the Photopolymerizations Center.
The Do Wonsuk Memorial Award has been given by the US chapter of the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineering since 2004 to 1-2 Korean students yearly who are studying chemical engineering in a doctoral program in the US.
The award will be presented at the Korean-American Chemical Engineers Forum during the 2010 American Institute of Chemical Engineers annual meeting November 10 in Salt Lake City, UT.
