Engineering Start-up Cyber-Anatomy Named Best of IOWA BUSINESS

IABiz Magazine has named Cyber-Anatomy, Inc., Iowa City, IA, for its Best of IOWA BUSINESS classification for 2010.

The publication, published by the Association for Business and Industry of Iowa, selected the company for putting emerging technologies together in innovative ways, cureating cutting-edge applications.

Founded by Karim Abdel-Malek, professor of biomedical engineering and director of the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design, Cyber-Anatomy creates software that explores the human body in all its complexity in 3D virtual reality.  It is changing the way biology and anatomy are taught from junior high school to medical school.
