Engineering Students Sweep Math and Engineering Awards at Fall Research Festival
Engineering students took all three awards in the math and engineering poster session at the December 8 Fall University of Iowa Research Festival.
Colleen Brehm received the “distinguished” award for her poster on “How does product-to-parent reversion affect the transport and fate of Trenbolone in stream networks?”
Brennan Ayres earned an “outstanding” rating for his poster on “Quantifying Door Openings in a C-Section Operating Room.”
Samantha Wagner took the “commended” award category for her poster on “Scaling and Positioning of Digital Human Internal Organs.”
The second annual festival was hosted by the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) and showcased more than 80 outstanding undergraduate researchers at the university.
