Lin Elected to AIMBE

Ching-Long Lin, professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and faculty research engineer at IIHR--Hydroscience & Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).

Lin, who joined the College of Engineering in 1997, has current research interests in multiscale simulation of gas flow and particle transport in the human lungs, turbulent flow in complex geometry, fluid-structure interaction, and parallel computing.

AIMBE is a Washington D.C.-based advocacy organization which was established in 1991 to provide collective expertise of biomedical engineers to federal policy makers and other agencies of government.
