Two Engineering Initiatives Premier on Big Ten Network
Two initiatives in the College of Engineering will premier Monday, April 19, on "Iowa Magazine" on the Big Ten Network.
A national audience on the network will be able to learn about how the new Iowa Flood Center uses lessons of 2008 to greatly advance the science of flood preduction.
During the same program, a segment titled "Design for the Developing World" will examine a service learning course that teaches Engineering students how simple ideas can address the biggest problems by delivering quality water to regions of impoverished Ghana.
The High Definition first showing the the segments will air at 12:00 Noon, Central Daylight Time, on Monday April 19 on the Big Ten Network. The program will air at subsequent times. Check local cable listings for exact time and channel.
