UI Engineer Wins National Engineering Fraternity Scholarship

Tracey Allen of Tipton, Iowa, a senior in the University of Iowa College of Engineering, has received a national Theta Tau Scholarship valued at $500 for the 2007-08 academic year.

An officer in the UI chapter of Theta Tau, Allen is majoring in Biomedical engineering and applying to medical school. Founded in 1904 at the University of Minnesota, Theta Tau is the nation's largest and oldest professional engineering fraternity.
