Under the plan a student will begin working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering at Indian Hills and, after a year and a half, transfer to Iowa as a second semester sophomore to complete the B.S. degree.

Details of the new engineering program will be presented to the public at Indian Hills Community College today.  Representing the college is Megan Allen, director of tutoring and retention.

Indian Hills Community College is a two-year public community college, with campuses located in Ottumwa and Centerville, IA. The college serves both traditional residential students and commuter students, primarily from a ten-county area in southeast Iowa as well as portions of northern Missouri.
