UI Offers Robotics Camp July 19-23

The University of Iowa College of Engineering will present Robotics Camp 2010 -- a one-week, hands-on, project-based summer program designed to engage and inspire youth in the areas of math, engineering, science and technology -- from 8 a.m. to noon July 19-23 at the Seamans Center on the UI campus.

The program involves students who have completed 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade during the 2009-10 school year. Students work together in an exciting environment using leading-edge technologies to sample disciplines that can change the world.

(Reporters and photographers are welcome to visit the camp to obtain photos and video from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday, July 22-23.)
