College of Engineering Dean Ann McKenna provided an update on several administrative transitions and appointments underway this semester. The appointments will become effective on July 1.

University of Iowa engineering student-athletes Addison “Addi” O’Grady and Taylor McCabe played important minutes for the Iowa women's basketball team that captivated the nation and beyond.

Sudhakar M. Reddy, an emeritus professor of electrical and computer engineering who joined the University of Iowa College of Engineering in 1966, was named a Highly Ranked Scholar in two categories. Reddy was ranked the No. 10 scholar in computer-aided design and the No. 15 scholar in integrated circuits.

Alexis Slade, a University of Iowa PhD candidate in civil and environmental engineering, has received the President's Student Leadership Award for showing a deep commitment to civic responsibility and leadership.

Nicole M. Grosland, associate dean for academic programs and Distinguished Professor in the College of Engineering, was recognized as an outstanding University of Iowa faculty member who has made exceptional contributions to the university and the community.
