COGS Settlement for AY05-07
GA stipend/tuition scholarship information
The tentative agreement with COGS was ratified by their membership. Under this agreement, the minimum increase for returning graduate assistants will be $246 for a 50% academic year appointment and $301 for a 50% fiscal year appointment. The new minimum rates will be $15,736 and $19,233 respectively. This represents an average increase of 1.5%, with another 1.5% scheduled for the second year.
The minimum tuition scholarship will become $1075 each semester for those enrolled for nine or more semester hours during the first year. The second year, the minimum becomes $1487.50.
The contract will be ratified by the Board of Regents at their March meeting. If you need additional information regarding the COGS agreement in the meantime, please let Kevin Ward know.
