College of Engineering Scholarships (2008-2009)
The College of Engineering annually awards approximately $450,000 in scholarships to engineering students based on academic achievement.
If a scholarship description indicates the award is to first-year students, this means undergraduates entering the University directly from high school.
First Year Student Scholarships
Transfer Student ScholarshipsThere are two scholarships offered specifically to entering first-year students. The Engineering Excellence Scholarship will offer 100 awards and the Engineering Opportunities Scholarship will offer 50 awards.

The College of Engineering offers a scholarship to those students who transfer into the program. Students are eligible for this if they are enrolled in the College of Engineering in the summer or fall of 2008

General Scholarship for Non-First Year Students
Undergraduate students (not available to entering first-year students) who are enrolled in the College of Engineering should submit a General Scholarship Application that will enable the College of Engineering to consider you for funding for which you may be eligible. Engineering scholarships are restricted to students who are enrolled full-time (12+ semester hours) in the College of Engineering by Fall 2008. Please follow the link below to read descriptions of the scholarships offered and to complete an application form. All materials for the general scholarships are due to 3124 SC by April 30th, 2008. Failure to provide requested information may make you ineligible for some scholarships.
