HOME OFFICERS BENEFITS JOIN ASME EVENTS CALENDAR MEMBERS LINKS PROJECTS CONTACT US	Speakers: We will be holding joint meetings with the ME Professional Seminar and Professional ASME Section members to hear speeches by local and national engineers. Topics will range from seeking Co-ops, to entrepreneurship to cutting-edge technology. All exciting. Conferences: If you are interested in attending the Student Leadership Conference on Sept. 26-27th or the Regional Conference in April '04, please let us know. Each year the our ASME student section sends a dozen people and everybody comes back with a positive attitude. The hosts always look  to impress visiting sections with paid-for dinners, activities and a chance to explore their college towns and local industry. Design: We are looking for people interested in working on design projects; this year it is the Mine Madness robot will be developing. Check out the rules here: this contest involves a great deal of design and testing, members can expect to learn a thing or two about teamwork, failure and success and it is all good preparing for your Senior Design Project at the end of your undergraduate program. Social: Many social events are held each year for fun and for the members of ASME to get to know each other. They include Poker and Guitar Hero Tournaments. Movie and game nights. As well as anything that members of ASME choose to hold among themselves. These events are always free and open to everyone on the campus and are loads of fun.
