Phase I Final Report Guidelines


The purpose of the phase I final report to describe to the reader the project progress to data, ensure them that the project is on track and  likely to succeed.   You can assume that the audience is a technical manager responsible for a periodic review of your project.  

Formatting:

Content:

Decide if your project is a "research" project or a "product" project.    Research projects should use this format while product development reports should use this format.

Grading:

        Handed in on time: 10%
        Formatting: 10%
        Appropriate references to literature: 10%
        Executive summary: 10%
        Body: 60%
 
Hand-In:

You must give a copy of your report to your mentor by 5 PM on Dec. 6.   I will ask your mentor to fill out this evaluationof your work.

Each group should hand in one copy of their document to the course instructor by 5 PM on Dec. 10.
