Other Important Informations:
- The tests will have questions designated to reward
those who do well on homeworks. All tests will
be returned to you. If you have any questions about the grading of your
test, please see me within one week following the return of your test. I
will not entertain any question about your test following this period.
- Occasionally, concepts and techniques will be discussed
in class that are not mentioned in the textbook.
Non-attendance will not be accepted as an excuse for not knowing these
concepts if they come up on an exam.
- Makeup test will only be given in the exceptional
cases.
- The minimum penalty for academic misconduct is failure
in the course. I have been told that the following paragraph works
wonders. Before returning your graded exams, I will randomly photocopy
a number of these and keep them for my files. This is to prevent doctoring
of answers after the exam has been graded and returned. People who do try
doctoring exams should beware that there is a high likelihood of their
exam having been xeroxed. In such an event, I
will compare the exam answers brought back with that I have in my files.
