Undeclared Engineering
Engineering students that have not declared one of the six majors are advised by the Student Development Center Staff. Undeclared majors may declare a major at any point during their freshman or sophomore year.
Advising In the summer proceeding their first semester, incoming engineering students are advised by the Student Development Center staff. Once the first semester of enrollment begins, students who have declared a major are assigned a faculty advisor from that program. Engineering students who remain undeclared after the first semester are advised by the Student Development Center staff until they declare a major, at which time they are assigned a faculty adviser from their major program.
Undeclared engineering majors should declare their major no later then the start of the spring semester of their sophomore year. For students who change majors, the Student Development Center will assign a new faculty advisor from the new major program.
