SCS Curve Number for NB Ralston Creek (1972)
Determine the composite curve number (CN) appropriate for
the North Branch Ralston Creek
to be used in simulating the flood on 17-18 July 1972. The
SCS
land use and land cover types are provided for the 3.01 square mile area.
Use this information to compute the following:
- CN (AMC II) for each land use class.
- The composite CN (AMC II) for the entire watershed.
- The composite CN (AMC III) for the entire watershed (HINT: Use the result
from part b).
