10 May 2011: Nano Lab is awarded $25K under "The Math & Physical Science Funding Program (MPSFP)" for graphene and carbon nanotube experiments.
20 April 2011: Professor Raza is awarded an Old Gold Faculty Fellowship from the University of Iowa for his commitment to the undergraduate and graduate student education.

26 Jan 2011: Tehseen Raza joins the lab as Adjunct Assistant Professor.
2 Dec 2010: Congratulations to visiting graduate student "Dr. Tehseen Raza" for successfully defending her PhD final exam at Purdue.

4 June 2010: Our paper on bilayer graphene is highlighted in the collection of outstanding papers of Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter.
17 May 2010: Professor Raza is awarded a 2010 Presidential Faculty Fellowship from the University of Iowa. Nanolab's work on graphene research, scholarship, education, outreach and civic engagement is endorsed by this fellowship.
3 May 2010: Paul Haugen has received an Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) fellowship.
15 April 2010: Professor Raza is awarded "Nanoscale Lab Equipment" grant through the College of Engineering General Education Fund supplement.
6 October 2009: Paul Haugen joins the group as an undergraduate student in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
14 August 2009: Professor Raza and Professor Andersen are awarded ARRA funds to establish a teaching laboratory on Nanoscale devices and systems, the first of its kind.
18 May 2009: Professor Raza arrives in Iowa City to join the University of Iowa and to establish a research and teaching program on nanoscale devices and systems.
