Class Aims

This course explores some of the latest research  issues in Operational Issues in Supply Chain Management Engineering.

This is a lecture/readings/discussion/project course on the current state of research and industrial implementation of Operational Issues in Supply Chain Management Engineering. The objective is to identify, investigate and develop major research areas. The format of the course is that each week a lecture is given to be followed by a discussion of particular research issues. Students are expected to complete a semester project and two exams.

This is a course that stresses research in supply chains, particularly research in the modeling of supply chains.

Prerequisites

Graduate students in Engineering.
