Welcome to our site!
Tau Beta Pi is the national engineering honor society. We recognize students for distinguished scholarship and exemplary character. Our chapter here at the University of Iowa is an active service organization on campus and in Iowa City, but we also like to have fun.
We hope you find this site informative. Please contact us if you have questions or comments.
Upcoming Events
- Tau Beta Pi will be hosting the annual Paul D. Scholz Symposium April 10, 2008 at 4:30-5:20 pm in the second floor ballroom of the IMU. The event is free and open to the public. The speakers will be talking about ways in which we can all improve the environment and reduce use of non-renewable energy, as well as things being worked on in research and industry.
- Officer elections will be held immediately after the symposium, starting around 6:00 or 6:30 in 4505 SC.
- Tau Beta Pi will be participating in Relay for Life on April 22. Please register if you are interested in participating. If you would like to go canning, contact cac.uiowa@gmail.com because they want participants to go through a short "training" meeting beforehand.
- A Google calendar has been created with very tentative dates for future events for anyone who wishes to see.
