Dr.
Wu is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Electrical &
Computer Engineering and Radiation Oncology at the His
research interests are primarily in biomedical computing and computer
algorithms, with a particular emphasis on the development and implementation
of efficient algorithms for solving challenging problems arising in
computer-assisted medical diagnosis and treatment, biomedical image analysis,
and bioinformatics. Dr. Wu's research has been supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institute of Health (NIH), the American Cancer Society, and the University of Iowa. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and the NIH K25 Career Development Award. Graduate Student Recruiting: Graduate assistantship available
