Research Highlights

Civil and Environmental Engineering

CEE supports more than 60 graduate students who research in four areas: 1. Environmental Engineering and Science 2. Hydraulics, Hydrology, and Water Resources 3. Structures, Mechanics and Materials and 4. Transportation Engineering.
Graduate Programs

Electrical and Computer Engineering

We are proud to have among our faculty a National Science Foundation Presidential Faculty Fellow, a National Science Foundation National Young Investigator, several Fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and more.

Industrial Engineering

The program offers both PhD and MS degrees, with the MS degree with thesis and non-thesis options. The program benefits from modern human factors research and driving simulation laboratories, and bio manufacturing and manufacturing process laboratories.
Undergraduate Programs

Mechanical Engineering

This almost 500 student program offers both MS degree and PhD degrees, with both thesis and non-thesis tracks for the MS degree available. Research focus areas include diverse topics in mechanical systems and thermal-fluid engineering, among several more.
