Engineering Tutor

Engineering Tutoring is hiring tutors for Fall 2021! Tutors typically work one to three shifts per week (3 hours/shift), are paid for training and professional development, and can receive a tutoring certificate that is recognized on campus after two semesters of employment. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to become a Teaching Assistant or educator in the future.

Hanson Center Communications Tutor

Are you a confident, self-motivated communicator who has found success on written assignments, lab reports, and presentations? Do you like helping your peers in small groups or one-on-one? If so, please apply to be a peer tutor at the Hanson Center for Communication (HCC) in the College of Engineering.

Interested applicants should send an updated resume, brief cover letter explaining your interest and qualifications, and an engineering writing sample and/or sample presentation (e.g. the Statics essay) to HCC Director Jason Kosovski (jason-kosovski@uiowa.edu).
