Dr. Cory Phillips

Dr. Cory Phillips is laboratory team lead at the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery, Linden NJ.  He is responsible for the refinery lab, water compliance lab, and polypropolenelab.  He formerly served as FCC team lead at ConocoPhillips, responsible for  the FCC R&D team in lab-scale catalyst pre-treatment and screening and pilot-scale experimental simulations, PDC engineering lead involved in pilot pant design and development, process development center, research services engineering and operations, and the Bartlesville Technology Center, senior research engineer for the advanced hydrocarbon fuels team and refining R&D, and automotive OEM technical lead for the automotive lubricants business unit.  He also was a staff research engineer at the University of Michigan and senior research engineer at Honda R&D Americas.  Dr. Phillips earned a BS degree in chemical engineering in 1993 from the University of Michigan and a PhD in chemical and biochemical engineering in 1999 from the University of Iowa.
